On 25 June, some of the Mercy Indonesia team and twelve children from Mercy Denpasar Children’s Home set off to West Timor. We spent three days in Kupang, a day in Soe and two days in Atambua at the refugee camp.
The children blessed many people in each location with their praise and worship music and singing. They also spent time with the people in each location, and decided to believed with them for miracles.
When they went to the refugee camp, this was the first time in over 5 years that the children had the opportunity to see their family members. It was emotional but a great celebration. It also strengthened the relationships between the families at the refugee camp and Mercy Indonesia.
It was an amazing week and to see the difference in the children as they grew in confidence and in their spiritual journey as well.
We want to give a huge thank you to our partners Warm Blankets who made it all possible for the children to visit their families and bless hundreds of people. Thank you Warm Blankets
