We are excited to announce that the New Mercy Home in Rote Island (Western Indonesia) is now officially open.
We held the opening on the evening of 18 July. The event was attended by government officials and Mercy Indonesia co-partners Warm Blankets. The home is now a place of hope for 20 orphans who have lost their mother or father and have been rescued from extremely poor villages.
This orphanage is the first orphanage on the island.
Our mission is to restore the lives of orphans in partnership with churches, corporations, organizations and individuals who have a passion to help needy, parentless children.
