When I was young both my father and grandfather passed away. My mum, grandmother and I grieved for a long time. After my dad passed away, I never saw my mum smile, she was always so sad.
My mum and grandmother had to take up employment. They worked hard but, it still was not enough to meet even the basic needs. So I decided that I needed to also take on the responsibility of working. I thought, if I work, I can help to provide food, and my family can eat and have clothes to wear. Because I was working, I did not have the opportunity to go to school and gain an education. Life was hard.
Then, when I was 8 years old, Paulus and Marliesye asked me if I would like to go to Atambua Mercy Home and have a chance to go to school. I decided to move into the home. I am so greatfull as now I have a good home, good food, a good place to sleep and I can go to school. Before I was struggling, now I know God can provide for my future. I know God has brought me here as He has a good plan for my life.
Now I dream about becoming a Pastor. I can enjoy being a child and have taken up volleyball. Thank you for listening to my story. I, like many others need your support so that I can continue to go to school, achieve goals and develop my gifts and talents.
