Medan Children's Home was established in 2005 as a result of the tsunami and earthquake in Nias Island. It was started with five children, now there are 33 children. Mercy Indonesia has been rescuing and takes caring the children for their better future.
Mercy Medan Staff:
Jandri and his wife Welly are the caregivers for the home. They too used to be orphans. They have been serving Mercy Indonesia since graduating from High School.
Our mission is to restore the lives of orphans in partnership with churches, corporations, organizations and individuals who have a passion to help needy, parentless children.
